Possession.

It's like watching a pot boil...it takes a little longer than you anticipate but when it starts boiling, man-o-man, it happens fast!

Mommy, Maggie & mine are all sort of sounding the same. But in the last few days, 'mine' has definitely made it's way to the top. Everyday it seems to get a little clearer. And i have to say, it's actually really cool. It's age appropriate, and shows she is learning possession. Now the trick is to ensure she understands it.

I do find it really entertaining, the whole sudden burst of emotion over THIS IS MY DOLL. How can you not smile...especially when you plug in adults in a what-if scenario in the same situation.

1...2...3

onnnnnnnne. twwwwooo. freeeee.

Guess who's counting???!!!

and guess who's counting everything...from strawberries, to toes, to going down the slide. If there is more than one, then it will be counted.

The best part is when she tries to count with her long, beautiful fingers. Getting just 3 fingers up isn't easy!

Please = Teeeeee

you know your little one is turning into a girl when she grabs your pant leg & pushes you out of the room because she knows what she is about to do you probably wouldn't agree to it. and how can you not leave giggling as she is telling you 'bye-bye' in a high pitched voice??!!! today it was the bathroom, because who wouldn't want to splash their little fingers around the toilet bowl??! yeah, it's pretty easy to win mom over, and hey dad too.

speaking of dad. maggie use to say da-dee, but then suddenly joel became mommeee too. so when you ask maggie to point to mommee it's me, and to daddee it's joel...but ask her to say daddee it's delivered with a big ole 'moooommmeee.' i LOVE it, and it gets me everytime - especially the look on joel's face!

and the other way to win us over is for maggie to say please, which in her world is 'teeeeeeeea.' hard to say no after that.

...still on the fence, but thinking she might just be a lefty...
