I HEART this photo!!! Maggie came with me to work at the stores, and of course we had to break for hot chocolate. And there is NO BETTER place than Blue Bottle for hot chocolate. BEST in the city. And for so many reasons I just adore this photo, and frequently look at it with wonderful pause.

Maggie's 1st Sleepover

Maggie had her FIRST sleep over with her bestest best friend, Mia from school. They had been talking about this sleeping over for well over a year. 'When can I have a sleep over with Mia?' She was a little on the young side, but Maggie is a social butterfly who was definitely ready for the adventure. So at just over 4 years old, Mz. Maggie had her first ever sleep over.

a Mermaid Halloween

About a month ago we started talking about what Maggie wanted to be for Halloween. Instantly she answered MERMAID. What I love is that she never strayed from her decision. That was that, a mermaid. It is so Maggie to know what she wants and to stick with her decision and with dead on determination.

We went to Alex's house for their big annual Halloween party, and from there ventured out for trick-or-treating. Always a riot to watch the kids go from zero to 100 on the sugar high.
